During the first days of school we will spend some time getting to know our new friends! Here are two icebreakers that we will do.
1. Same and Different
When students report to school on the first day, I will have them fill out a questionnaire about their preferences, families, pets, etc. Once students are finished filling this out, they will be grouped according to their desk clusters and list the similarities and differences they can find between each other. Then we will discuss this with everyone together and create a personality wall where each student's questionnaire and artwork.
2. Grab a Question
Students will grab a piece of paper from a jar and answer whatever question is asked. This will give students another chance to learn about their classmates and discover even more information about them that they did not find out from Same and Different.
